Product Specialist - Mutual Funds & Structured Products

Functional Responsibilities:

1. Mutual Funds

Origination:

- Origination of Mutual Fund ideas, across fixed income and equity, tie-ups with AMC- s, due diligence of Mutual Funds, launch of MF ideas

Mutual Funds Research and Analysis:

- Analysis of Mutual Funds across product categories on multiple parameters

- Continuous tracking of mutual funds, benchmarking, etc.

- Meetings with fund management teams for initiation of ideas / tracking of existing recommendations

- Publishing mutual fund and related product collaterals on a regular basis

Sales Co-ordination and Support:

- Support Relationship Managers in increasing sales penetration across focus ideas

- Conducting training for RMs, Meetings with RMs and clients

- Review of Mutual Fund portfolios of key clients

- Assisting RMs with investment proposals

- Ongoing tracking MF sales, revenues and penetration

2. Structured Products

- Structured Products - origination of product ideas, tie-ups, co-ordination, launch and sales support

3. Investment Strategy

- Contributing to the overall investment strategy formulation and investment recommendation process

- Contributing to investment publications of Advisory team

4. Other

- Working closely within Advisory team on a variety of product support / process-related matters

- Work closely with Operations, Technology, Compliance on business development, process and regulatory matters

Key Skills Requirements

- Strong functional knowledge across asset and product classes; especially MFs and structured products

- Strong analytical skills, proficiency with MS Word, Excel, Power Point

- Good communication skills (verbal, written)
