Job Summary:
Sales professionals to design/develop strategies to improve the effectiveness of sales organizations through sales diagnostic, process re-engineering, sales talent management, incentive management, and operations optimization.
Job description:
- Work on designing and implementing plans on sales strategy and sales operations, channel strategy and design, channel partner management, territory management, sales force effectiveness, sales processes, sales compensation & reward and sales operations optimization.
- Work as sales owner of an area of business with direct team reporting & management of channel partners.
- Work as an integral part of the client's sales organization, towards driving sales and revenue numbers - with a structured, logical and data oriented approach.
- Work on diagnostics on client data and processes to understand gaps, in the current state processes to help improve client processes
- Additional Engagement Opportunities Include:
a) Market entry strategy development
b) Product launch strategy
c) Channel mix assessment and strategy
d) Sales channel optimization
e) Process Assessment & Improvisation
f) Sales Data Analysis, Marketing Planning
g) Assessment & Sales Enhancement Strategy
Additional Responsibilities may include:
- Business Development
a) Support efforts of global sales team to identify and win potential opportunities
- Internal Development:
a) Develop assets and methodologies, develop of points-of-view, research or white papers, support development of marketing collateral, conduct public speaking and publish in industry periodicals
Experience:
Specific experience will include:
- A minimum of 1 - 5 years of progressive industry and/or consulting experience in the
Products industry - CGS/Retail/Auto/Beverages/IE industry
- Consulting or functional experience in:
a) Sales Strategy and Business Planning
b) Sales Forecasting & Inventory Management
c) Product and market entry/launch strategy
d) Sales Operations
e) Channel management ( Direct / Indirect)
f) Sales Force Incentive Management
g) Trade Spend management
- Experience working on a large-scale Business / Operational Transformation project desirable
- Strong program management/ people management skills
- Experience working with - C- level executives
- Global exposure will be desirable
- Preference will be given to candidates working as Sales managers in one of the above listed industries.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Should be a MBA from Top premier B-schools only.
- Mandatory Experience
Direct Sales Experience is required

- Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment
- Structured approach to Problem solving
- Excellent leadership, communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable working at the highest levels of client organizations and interacting closely with the - C- level executives in a range of environments
- Desire to work in an information systems environment
Other Details:
Location: Bangalore/Gurgaon/Mumbai
Travel : Ability to accommodate global travel - 60%-70% or more
