Squad Lead - Product Owner

JOB TITLE

Looking for a Squad Lead to modernize, simplify and migrate Personal Investments Personalization platform to Cloud infrastructure that provides scale and efficiency for all critical business use cases (Lead Management, Call Routing, Digital Experiences, Customer Targeting and Segmentation, etc.)

The Team

- You are an energetic leader who is truly client obsessed and loves working with teams to design and deliver exceptional platforms, product solutions to clients.

- This team builds and managed high volume/low latency Cassandra and Kafka platforms (500+ real time events, 1B+ personalized recommendations with sub milli second response time) that support personalized customer experiences across all channels.

- You will be leading a squad which has a dedicate set of engineers, scrum masters and analytic resources to strategize, prioritize and manage modernization and simplification of Personalization & Real Time Streaming Analytics platform to Cloud based infrastructure.

- Working with a dedicated set of squad members without direct authority over them will be key - you are a servant leader and embody that in how you approach the work.

- You will coordinate closely with your tribe leader to stay aligned on business goals and make sure your squad is progressing and delivering against them.

The Expertise You Have (The order of these bullets do not matter)

- As a Squad Leader/Product Owner for the Personalization Platform, you will work with various application and channel owners within to modernize current Personalization & Real Time Streaming Analytics Platform to Cloud based infrastructure.

- You will also be familiar with and actively monitor the cloud-native service and commercial third-party offerings, to understand how emerging technologies could be used to enhance the platform.

- You will drive and prioritize feature-development, work across the organization to foster buy-in, and collaborate with the engineering team to bring your vision to light

Basic Qualifications

- Advanced degree in Applied Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, or similar. Ideally you are a PhD or similar degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Computational Statistics, Operations Research, Machine Learning or related technical fields.

- 10+ years of hands-on experience in building and leading teams focused on large scale NoSQL database, advanced analytics, Cloud based solution offerings like Kinesis/Kafka Streams, etc.

- A minimum of 3-5 years of product management experience with enterprise level software (an emphasis on Cloud based data lakes, NoSQL databases, streaming and batch data integration, etc.)

- Written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex technical information in a clear and concise manner to executives and non-technical leaders

- Hands-on experience with SQL & No SQL data stores, Kafka Streams, Spark Streaming, Kinesis, Collibra/Alation and DevOps automation (continuous integration, continuous delivery)

- Expertise in driving platform strategies and roadmaps for DevOps, Containerization strategies, etc.

- Advanced knowledge in data taxonomy, streaming data and metadata catalog

- Experience in evaluating and making decisions on platforms and tools required for the product

- Ideally, you have previous experience working within a digital-native organization (Google, Facebook, Amazon, etc.) and/or the Financial Services industry
