Product Owner - Bank/FinTech

Designation-Lead/Sr Product Owner (based on Experience)

1) Job Purpose : Tech is a techno-functional role primarily responsible to implement LMS product, scheme configuration changes, drive LOS/LMS API integrations for new digital partnership implementation projects, while meeting development schedules and ensuring the delivered solution meets the technical specifications and design requirements.

2) Dimensions :

- Understanding of Loan Origination systems, lending software suites, partner API interface integrations.

- Extensive knowledge of APIs Technologies (Postman / SoapUI)

- AWS Cloud Basics

- Good Communication skills for external and internal stakeholder manager

- Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment demonstrating teamwork, innovation and excellence

- Self-motivated, decisive, with the ability to adapt to change and competing demands

- Overall 9+ years of full time work experience in tech companies or digital banking/fin tech

- Excellent working knowledge of various financial lending products like retail loans, consumer durable loans, business loans, line of credit, credit cards etc.

- Domain Exposure in Financial Services and past experience in Digital Lending, Banks or NBFCs

3) Job Context & Major Challenges:

1. Complete application ownership and responsibility for change management of LOS and LMS applications used for digital business partnerships

2. Maintain and publish digital application APIs / Web-services for various internal and external integrations

3. Work closely with business team and help define tech requirements for LOS / LMS for integrations of new business partnerships

4. Drive tech development with engineering team using agile principles, incorporating feedback from users, developers, business and other stakeholders

5. Work with partners to resolve their dev / uat queries and ensure partners go-live in a time-bound manner and have a hands on approach for resolving issues across LMS and third-party interfaces for designated partners

6. Work on agile application implementation projects for digital business while meeting development schedules and ensuring the delivered solution meets the technical specifications and design requirements.

4) Key Result Areas :

- Understand client requirements to deliver right solutions

- Ensure that there is a thorough understanding of business requirements and raise technical requirements for LOS / LMS changes / enhancements

- Ensure sign off from operations/ product/ credit/ finance on the requirement specifications Digital Application Change Management

- Manage JIRA Sprints and deliveries for LOS and LMS application

- Ensure JIRA process for all change requests for LMS application Standardization of APIs / products for ease of integration with 3rd party partnerships

- Understand underlying systems and interfaces

- Build parameterized information that needs to move between 2 systems

- Ensure the APIs are standardized & published to 3rd parties LMS Product Design

- Design innovative products to give Consumer Finance business an edge over its competitors

- Collaborate with product department to conceptualize, document, design & develop new product concepts

- Design & deliver LMS product features

- Use JIRA storyboards, information architecture blueprints and prototypes to collect feedback and iteratively improve and support the design process Understanding of Digital operations and processes
