Product Marketing Mgr - Server & Storage

The position will support Server & Storage Infrastructure product family and work as an extended team of Product lifecycle Marketing Managers to provide support for various product lines.

Roles & Responsibilities:
 
- Drive the definition of a product/ service/solution (PSS) family/ portfolio through R&D and solutions teams

- Determine appropriate PSS family positioning prior to introduction

- Determine initial PSS pricing strategy

- Influence third parties to enhance solutions capabilities

- Regularly meet with customers or partners during the sales process

- Provide closed-loop post-analysis of PSS family strategies /roadmaps/platforms/Stock Keeping Unit (SKU)s Regional:

- Determine and lead an appropriate product/service/solution family introduction process to assure an effective launch within the region

- Work with retailers and customers to affect demand

- Drive the inventory strategy

- Determine appropriate ongoing pricing in support of established pricing strategy

- Continued product enhancements required to succeed, customer commitment requests, marketing content for customer field collateral, product packaging/ structure changes, etc.

Requisites
 
- Overall ~7 years of experience; 3+ years product marketing experience in technology industry preferred

- Experience in IT hardware/services with preference for understanding of Server/Storage technologies and networking software

- Highly knowledgeable of product/solution family and the business needs of the target customers

- Demonstrated knowledge of general marketing function either through education or work experience

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills - including customer facing PowerPoint presentations and web pages

- Proven ability to quickly assimilate new technical and product information and translate into customer experience 

- Ability to work with global team across the time-zones
