Responsibilities for this role include but are not limited to:
- Product marketing content creation for specific DDN, Tintri & IntelliFlash platforms, including:
Core product feature/benefit messaging
Competitive positioning
Articulation of product benefits
Integration within a customer and partner ecosystem
Support of vertical solutions marketing opportunities (Examples include solutions briefs, case studies, white papers, customer presentations, public speaking, social media etc.)
Partner relationship/eco-system development
- Oversee the content and ensure the frequency of demand generation initiatives
- Participate in outreach programs such as webinars, local events, etc.
- Manage award submission and participation programs for key conferences & events -Participate in and create content for sales training
Qualifications for this role are:
- Strong familiarity with the HPC and Enterprise storage marketplace and leading technologies, including application providers and system integrators
- Specific, deep experience and knowledge in one or more vertical markets such as financial services, life sciences, artificial intelligence, manufacturing simulations etc.
- Understanding of storage infrastructure and content-intensive applications
- Knowledge of ancillary products and concepts such as servers, networking, virtualization, cloud
- Strong familiarity with the competitive landscape and competitive offerings and product trends
- 5+ years of relevant experience in roles associated with product marketing in server/data storage, HPC or Big Data industry, business development and/or sales
- Professional marketing skills including understanding how to develop positioning and messaging
- Must have extremely good communication skills and very well versed in spoken and written English.
- Must have experience of digital marketing on technical products, arranging online/physical workshops, seminars, attracting audience for digital events and managing entire events from concept to delivery.
- Must be comfortable working with channel partners, customers and industry analysts over phone, email and other collaboration tools.
- Must have experience of running marketing campaigns targeting C-class executives, decision makers and IT leads. Should have run campaigns around product launches, user groups etc.
- Must have experience of teaming with channel partners to build pipeline and working with sales team to close the deals.
- Must have worked on understanding portfolio of data storage products, working with engineering and product management to create product demos and marketing literature.
- Must have experience in developing product positioning, messaging and competitive differentiation for data storage products.
- Should have experience working with global team especially in Asian counties.
- Should have bachelors/masters degree in computer science, computer or electronic engineering OR business administration or marketing.
