Job Description

Reporting to the VP of Product Marketing, the Product Marketing Manager is responsible for providing product planning support as well as product marketing, working closely with Engineering and Product Management. It also includes working with sales, marketing and operations to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met. The Product Marketing Manager's job also includes ensuring that the product and marketing efforts support the company's overall strategy and goals.

You must possess a unique blend of business and technical savvy; a big-picture vision, and the drive to make that vision a reality.

You must enjoy spending time in the market to understand their problems, and find innovative solutions for the broader market.

You will work with the larger marketing and sales teams to define the go-to-market strategy, helping them understand the product positioning, key benefits, and target customer.

You will also serve as the internal and external evangelist for your product offering, occasionally working with the sales channel and key customers.

The Product Marketing Manager is expected to:

1.Help define the product strategy and roadmap

2.Deliver MRDs with prioritized features and corresponding justification

3.Develop sales tools and collateral (both in-house and with third parties)

4.Brief and train the sales force on monthly calls, and in face-to-face meetings

5.Be an expert with respect to the competition

6.Develop the core positioning and messaging for the product

7.Provide product demos

8.Propose and track projects and budgets to ensure success

9.Support analyst relations team with positioning and messaging

10.Act as a leader within the company

Required experience and knowledge

1.Minimum of 5 years experience as a Product Manager or Product Marketing Manager

2.Demonstrated success defining and launching excellent products

3.Prior work in customer experience solutions highly desired

4.Excellent written and verbal communication skills

5.Bachelor's degree (MBA preferred)

6.Technology background, with experience in digital solutions, and/or customer experience solutions

7.Excellent written and verbal communications, and teamwork skills

8.Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority

9.Able to work without restriction in Bangalore, India, and do some amount of local and international travel

10.Examples and at least one sample of an effective document delivered in the past
