Product Manager - Travel Domain

Product Manager- Leading IT Product Based Company in travel domain

Role & Responsibilities :

The PM is responsible for the product planning and execution throughout the product lifecycle. This includes understanding market size/trends, defining the product roadmap, gathering & prioritizing product/customer requirements and supporting their introduction into the field. The PM will be working closely with engineering, sales, marketing and support teams to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met. The PM's job also includes ensuring that the product supports the company's overall strategy and goals.

The Product Manager is expected to :

- Define the product strategy and roadmap

- Deliver BRDs and FRDs with prioritized features and corresponding commercial justification

- Run beta and pilot programs with early-stage products and samples

- Be an expert with respect to the competition

- Act as a leader within the company and take key participation in technical/product strategy discussions internally & externally

Education & Experience Summary :

- Minimum of 5-8 years experience as a Product Manager (preferably in a SaaS company)

- Demonstrated success in defining and launching new products

- Experience in developing or working with statistical / revenue & pricing models is essential

- Knowledge and experience in Retail, eCommerce, Travel & Hospitality technology domain or airlines will be an advantage

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Ideal candidate shall have Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Operations Research, Applied Mathematics or Statistics. Candidates with background in analytic and quantitative coursework would be preferred

- Role needs excellent teamwork skills. Person is expected to work in a cross functional team environment.
