Position: Product Manager

Location : Bangalore

Experience: 7-12 years

Education : Bachelors or Masters Degree in engineering. MBA or Certification in product management is preferred

Job description:

Product Strategy: (25%)

- Develop and champion a product vision/roadmap and strategy in support of overall organization and product unit strategy.

- Acts as the product champion, and is able to evangelize the product vision effectively to senior stakeholders and is able to independently drive to agreement n product requirements and directions.

- Use primary/secondary research to analyze the marketplace, customers and competitors to develop and prioritize valuable product features.

Product Definition: (50%)

- Follow product life-cycle management process to develop new products and enhance existing products

- Develop value proposition, business case, product description, sales and marketing collateral

- Specify, prioritize and communicate high level and detailed product specifications using use cases, deployment models

- Drives build vs partner vs buy decisions in collaboration with product architect and engineering.

- Manage partner relationships, identifying necessary and/or desirable third-party features; evaluating and selecting vendors, negotiating agreements and contracts, and managing partnership integration
