Product Manager - Software Development - Healthcare Domain

Responsibilities :

Delivery :

- Manage all aspects of the implementation and delivery of software to internal and external clients worldwide

- Ensure the timely, high-quality and cost-effective delivery of software projects;

- Own the overall accountability, for the end-to-end delivery of projects;

- Perform project reviews on a consistent basis to ensure project delivery is on time and on budget.

Client Management :

- Work with Client Account Managers to drive growth, quality and customer satisfaction;

- Represent Medusind to the customers at business reviews, and other critical meetings, for the overall delivery aspects and quality of delivery

Team management :

- Resource, capacity and personnel management aspects of the Delivery team

- Work with the HR department to grow the team in size and capabilities,

- Maintain employee satisfaction and happiness, ensuring high levels of retention;

- Maintain an effective team through selection, training, compensation, motivation, termination and review

Technology and Process :

- Provide Technology leadership to the team, decide on Tech Architecture

- Scan environment and maintain technology roadmap

- Procure tools and lay down processes to ensure quality, productivity

- Vendor management

- Maintain existing and establish new partners required for the delivery for the customer.

Experience Requirements :

The ideal candidate will meet all or a majority of the following educational and professional experience requirements :

- A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science or MIS from a nationally recognized institution.

- 10-15 years experience in the software development field, with demonstrated performance working with customers, leading the delivery of product and solution offerings.

- 5+ years- experience in project, program or development management.

- Good understanding of and experience with off-shore, multi-location distributed software development model.

- Good understanding of development processes (agile and other latest methodologies), quality and testing best practices.

- Demonstrated skills and experience in team building and mentoring.

- Healthcare domain knowledge, especially provider side, a strong plus.
