Product Manager - Research & Development - Electrical/Electronics

About the Role :

We are looking for a dynamic R&D manager in a Senior Manager position, who is self-driven and entrepreneurial in nature. The R&D manager will work in close relations with the sales organization, realizing that good product development happens at the crossroads of customer need and technological opportunity.

Key Attributes:

- A mature leader and team player with personal integrity, willing to fill in as needed, and able to inspire and develop a qualified R&D team with firmware, software, and electronics development

- Strong leadership skills and ability to drive projects according to timeline

- Experience from implementation and use of professional engineering QA practices & best practices for software development life cycle control

- Excellent communication skills, relating comfortably to domestic and international customers as well as technical experts

Qualification and Experience :

1. MSc or BSc in electronics or computer science or equivalent degree

2. More than 10 years of relevant work experience with B2B product development focused on embedded firmware, RTOS, and protocol stacks.

3. Experience in electronics and software is a plus.

4. Experience from working with sub-suppliers and consultants in SW, FW and HW development

5. Experience in the development or use of RF-based electronics will be beneficial.

6. Excellent communication skills, verbally and written

Roles and Responsibilities :

- Overall responsibility for all product development efforts, in-house and outsourced.

- Manage and allocate resources according to business-driven priorities

- Project management for all R&D activities

- Development and maintenance of team skills and qualifications

- Interaction and coordination with sales, marketing, and technical support teams
