Job Overview

Part of the Product Management Group, the Product Manager role is responsible for the life-cycle, delivery, management and longer-term service improvement of a Product Portfolio, balancing the Firm's technical and economic objectives.

What you will do

- Lead the Product Management Team for the portfolio (made up of the Business Owners, System Architect, Global Program Group's Portfolio Manager) to effectively manage the Product Portfolio

- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders within both IT and business lines and providing regular and relevant updates to stakeholders.

- Support the Product Manager - People services to build and maintain an effective Product Manager/Product Owner Team, the key to a high performing team who routinely delivers on its quality and vision commitments

- Own and communicate the portfolio vision. The Product Manager is the "content authority" for the release train and has the responsibility to define the What for each release train solution. Determining the What is the primary skill for the role. Once established, the product manager must continuously communicate Vision.

As the ultimate content authority for this Portfolio, the product manager takes a lead role in implementing the organizational, management and communication practices necessary to achieve business results

- Maintain Product and Portfolio Roadmaps.

- Manage the Portfolio budget and with the assistance of Procurement, responsible for leading contract renewals and negotiations.

- Active management of suppliers to the Portfolio (whether external or other internal teams

Required Skills

- Proven product management experience, managing both internal development and external vendors, product support and operations, and product roadmap development and alignment to business objectives, specifically for an HR and Learning function within a large professional services firm.

- Proven experience working with Senior HR stakeholders, aligning technology roadmaps with People Strategies and implementing the same.

- Proven working knowledge of both HR and learning and development systems, ideally with good exposure to:

- Managed a defined portfolio of applications used by both IT teams and the business.

- Proven ability to work both as a team and as an individual within the Product Manager/Product Owner team.

- Excellent understanding of development lifecycle and product support methodologies.

- Proven product/project value delivery management from requirements through to release

- Worked within a global enterprise, with IT teams distributed around the world and across suppliers.

- Lead teams within a matrix structure, with good understanding of Infrastructure and Product technologies and processes.

- A technology innovator with a blend of strategic and tactical skills who is well respected for his or her business and technical knowledge and the ability to see the big picture.

- Familiarity with working in an environment that requires strong security and identity management solutions to meet complex regulatory and compliance standards globally Strategic thinking:
