Product Manager-OTC/FMCG/Respiratory/Cardio
Job responsibilities :
Planning :
- Prepare marketing plan based on latest medical evidence incorporating inputs from GMA; evaluate brand performance on a continuous basis for both sales objective and throughput; develop tactics based on strategic Initiatives; develop communication material, tactics in compliance with marketing guidelines and monitor execution of the same by field force through metrics on a monthly basis
Launch Planning :
- Determine positioning strategy for product; design communication material positioning strategy and Strategic Imperatives; Develop product manual/promotional material for new products along with Global Medical Affairs; ensure promotion material is available at Global Distribution Centre (GDC); decide launch dates based on availability of first batch and market-readiness; conduct launch meetings
New Products Planning :
- Post-Launch Audit Coordinate with Sales Managers & RMs and review sales from launch date; sensitize the team on a regular basis ; Root Cause Analysis in case sales performance does not meet expectations; initiate corrective action (Such as training to sales force, modifications to positioning or promotional strategy,) when required
Branding and Promotions :
- Gather customer feedback through primary research (which patient segment and which indication); seek inputs from Global Medical Affairs and Strategy team on positioning & finalize positioning strategy; identify different customer segments for each brand; develop customized communication strategy and tools; initiate discussions with different advertisement agencies
Operating Network :
Internal : Group Therapy Manager, Group Product Managers, Global Medical Affairs, Sales Training, Sales Management Team, Logistics, IPDO, GGPM, Key Accounts Team and Finance
External : Vendors, Advertising Agencies, Market Research Agencies, Doctors, Pharmacists
