Product Manager - OMS/WMS

JD of Product Manager :

Mandatory Skills :

1. Experience of working on OMS, WMS

2. Understanding of order management, warehouse and store operations

3. Understanding of last mile operations (i.e. integration of OMS/WMS with LSP)

4. Knowledge of various areas of product from backend system

5. Knowledge of how ship from store, ship from DC, click and collect works

6. Knowledge of how return and exchange work.

RESPONSIBILITIES :

- Preparing product roadmap, product backlog, developing specification documents and managing the entire product development cycle right from idea till execution.

- Creating wireframes & prototypes as part of product specifications.

- Analyzing product metrics regularly and use the learning for product innovations and improvements.

- Innovating and delivering products that differentiate us from competition. This will include new products as well as enhancements to existing products.

- Conducting regular competition analysis and recommending a plan of action - should master the details of the competitive landscape.

- A min 3-9 years of solid Order management/ Fulfilment experience having previously worked with established omni-channel retail organizations.

- Well-versed in the entire life-cycle of a digital product, from concept, to opportunity assessment, to requirement documents and feasibility assessments, prototyping to wireframes and through execution, and being comfortable working across teams of engineering, operations, designers and business stakeholders.

- Understanding of order management, warehouse and store operations, and last mile concepts.

- Has previous experience of defining and implementing omni channel stories such as ship from store, click and collect, click and reserve.

- Platform thinking and understanding of enterprise systems that enable scale and differentiation

- Knowledge of various areas of product from backend systems- OMS, Warehouse management system, payment systems, ERP systems, POS systems etc

- Understanding of agile methodologies and ability to structure team to deliver in it

- Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize and work on projects with great efficiency and attention to detail

- Excellent relationship management skills, analytical skills must be metrics driven. 2

- Strong strategic aptitude; proven ability to define a winning business strategy and product roadmap.

- Excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills and the ability to express thoughts logically and succinctly.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS :

- Bachelor's degree in computer science or hardware engineering or related field, or equivalent work experience (BSc, BTech, BE)
