Product Manager For a NBFC
- Candidates with strong academic record (post- graduate qualification is preferred), relevant work experience of approximately 2 to 3 years within the financial services sector in India and who can demonstrate
- Keen interest in the impact lending space
- Strong drive and ability to self-direct; Given the start-up nature of the organization, the Analyst's role is of an open-ended nature.
- The candidate must be able to identify opportunities and effectively contribute to the team with little, if any, management or direction
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Willing to travel to branch locations to explain product guidelines / gather feedback from the market - Research new branch locations to be opened
- Drive sales contests and track RM / Branch productivity and thereby understand P&L dynamics
- Understand portfolio MIS
- Proficiency in MS Office, primarily Excel and PowerPoint
- Comfortable in a small, relatively unstructured work environment
- The role of a Product Manager is to liaison between the Business and the Operations /Technology Development team/ partner.
- The candidate must be able to interact with the sales team in the branches to gather feedback / MIS and make required reports.
- This role provides ample opportunity to the right candidate to understand the key processes and dynamics under which the business operates.
Requirements :
- Effective use of business modelling and requirements management techniques such as process and workflow modelling, use cases, user story definition, etc.
- Gather, review, and align Business Requirements from Business/Product following internal standard operating procedures
- Requirement Analysis through analysing BRDs/Gap Documents
- Act as liaison/agent between Development and Business for requirements and assumptions clarification or validation, compromise or agreement mediation, and to close information gaps
- Providing functional support during the development and testing phases
-Preparing Business Scenarios, Reviewing Test Scenarios/Cases
- Support integration and User Acceptance Testing
- Support Go-live activities.
- Review and validate business rules and requirements and obtain all required sign offs
- Will be the SPOC for maintaining the business and operations system parameters for rolling out a product/feature.
