Overview:

As a Product Manager specializing in Mutual Funds and Insurances, you will play a pivotal role in the development, enhancement, and management of our financial products portfolio. You will be responsible for overseeing the entire product lifecycle, from conception to launch, and beyond, ensuring that our offerings meet the needs of our customers while aligning with our business objectives.

Responsibilities:

- Product Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive product strategy for mutual funds and insurance products, considering market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape.

- Market Research: Conduct thorough market research to identify new opportunities, assess competition, and gather insights to inform product development and positioning.

- Product Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams including finance, marketing, legal, and operations to conceptualize, design, and develop new mutual funds and insurance products. Manage the product roadmap, prioritize features, and oversee the development process.

- Product Launch: Lead the successful launch of new products, coordinating with marketing and sales teams to develop go-to-market strategies, sales collateral, and training materials. Ensure smooth integration with existing systems and processes.

- Product Performance: Monitor and analyze the performance of existing products, including sales metrics, customer feedback, and profitability. Identify areas for improvement and optimization, and implement strategies to enhance product performance.

- Regulatory Compliance: Stay abreast of regulatory requirements and ensure that all products comply with relevant regulations and standards. Work closely with legal and compliance teams to address any regulatory issues or concerns.

- Customer Experience: Champion the customer experience by understanding customer needs and preferences, soliciting feedback, and driving initiatives to improve product usability, accessibility, and satisfaction.

- Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including internal teams, external partners, and regulatory authorities. Communicate product updates, milestones, and performance metrics effectively.

- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks associated with product development, launch, and ongoing management. Implement robust risk management processes and controls to safeguard the interests of our customers and the organization.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree preferred.

- Proven experience in product management, preferably in the financial services industry with a focus on mutual funds and/or insurance products.

- Strong understanding of financial markets, investment products, and regulatory requirements.

- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and market trends.

- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally and influence stakeholders at all levels.

- Strategic thinker with a customer-centric mindset and a track record of driving results.

- Project management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.

- Certification such as Certified Financial Planner (CFP) or Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) is a plus.
