Product Manager - Mortgage Sales - Rural

We have an urgent opening with one of our client as a Product Manager -Mortgages for Mumbai location.

Job Description-

- The individual will be responsible for driving Mortgage sales in rural branches. He needs to continually train and improve capability of branch staff to source and service Mortgage customers. Build alternate channel of sourcing in need and manage partner relationships to ensure growth of Mortgage business in rural catchments. Manage the portfolio well & work in tandem with Risk team for better upkeep of the portfolio. Launch Mortgage Loan product in Rural branches.Ensure Product program meets customer requirements in all attributes.
Enable continued training to FICC branches for capability building.

Expertise required / Domain Knowledge:

- He should have managed Mortgage loan product / housing loan product, preferably experienced in sub 10 lac loan brackets in Tier 3, 4 & 6 locations and in rural markets for at least 2-3 years. Understands Credit & Technical assessment procedures of mortgage loans in suburban & rural markets.

- Has worked at least at a regional / state level -- responsible for top line & bottom line P/L.

No. of years of relevant experience:

- 5 to 6 years of experience with at least 3 years in Product management function; exposure to risk is desirable. Experience in Rural / suburban housing loan & LAP product sales and marketing experience is a must.

- Any specific specialization/education:

Post Graduate / Graduate
