Product Manager - Micro mortgage (Female candidate only)


I. ROLE PURPOSE & OBJECTIVE :

Design, maintain, revamp and ensure profitability of a product or sub-product assigned. Manage a team of Asst. Product Managers & Management Associates

II. KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ROLE :

1. Strategic implementation of the product suite (assigned) in order to launch and manage the product offerings.

2. To prepare and execute the competition and market share strategy for the product line on an on-going and pro-active basis.

3. Supporting business in Portfolio retention and cross sell & up sell product to the existing customers.

4. Track and facilitate the portfolio for growth & profitability (Numbers & Yield) thereby increasing the profitability of the product suite assigned.

5. Operational efficiency -Adherence to budget (Plan vs. Actual).

6. Feedback of support functions on business coordination.

7. Customer visit across different geographies.

8. To analyze potential partner relationships for the product in builder segment.

9. To communicate with all areas of the company, including (but only) business/sales, credit, operations, technology, communication, compliance and strategy.

10. To work with credit counterpart to define product underwriting and release requirements.

11. To work with marketing communications to define the go-to-market strategy, helping them understand the product positioning, key benefits, and target customer.

12. To serve as the internal and external evangelist for product offering, closely working with the business/sales channels and key customers.

13. To develop and implement a company-wide go-to-market plan, working with all departments including business/sales channels to execution.

14. To attend the trainings as and when nominated for.

15. To complete the exercise for goal setting and appraisals on time for self and team.

III. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS OF KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS :

Educational Qualifications - MBA/PGDM or equivalent

Experience(Years and Core Experience Type) - 3+ years of product line experience (sales/credit/product/marketing) Housing Loan Segment. Professionals with experience of Affordable Housing lending are especially encouraged to apply.

Functional Skills :


- In depth knowledge of Housing Loans

- Good understanding of market & competitive land scape

- Experience of market research will be preferred

- Basic knowledge of legal and technical aspects

Behavioral Skills :


- Excellent people management & interpersonal skills:

- Good analytical & presentation skills

- Ability to communicate - Has good verbal fluency and uses simple, clear and purposeful language

Competencies - Professional and good orator
