1. Main Tasks And Responsibilities :
- Regular filed visits for Identifying local competition and consumer trends
- Articulate market requirements and opportunities
- Use market & business team feedback to inform product refinements and ongoing development
- Identify opportunities for product innovation and product enhancements
- Create buy-in for the product both internally and with key external partners
- Define the long term strategy of the product and create product road map
- Develop pricing strategies and product policies including product mix
- Create a pipeline of suppliers & negotiate with suppliers on purchase price
- Determine product packaging solutions
- Collaborate with business to know service needs.
- Work closely with Marketing team & with other cross functional teams
- Manage product-related support, feedback and inquiries from Business teams
- Monitor product inventory, product training & order planning
- Closely work with Supply Chain team on all the product issues, Plans & Dispatches
4. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE :
- Full time Management Graduate from a premier insititute
- Specilaisation in Sales & Marketing with product management experience in FMCD
- Knowledge of Optical business will be an added advantage
- Strong exposure to rural markets and with products/service targeted towards the rural market
- Have to be very good in communication both verbal & written
- Should have a good understading of basic commercials, Marketing and supply chain
