Jobs Description:

We're looking for a talented and passionate Product Manager who expects more from their career. It's an opportunity to work with a market-leading business to develop and deploy one of our great Products in the Grocery Retail market.

Joining our Platform product team, you'll work with world class and passionate people to act as the scrum product owner, creating and owning the technical sprint backlog (mainly shared services, not necessary UI components), story creation and estimation sessions. You'll work with the Senior Product Manager to prioritise the detailed product backlog and the technical teams to ensure sprint level releases are aligned to the strategic product roadmap. You will also support the roll out of the product within the business and to new clients.

What we expect from you:

- BS degree or equivalent in relevant subject (data, data pipeline/tooling, analytics, data science), excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach. Experience in product management and/or data science/analytics/data management

- Create and own the sprint backlog, lead user story creation and estimation sessions.

- Discuss requirements with engineering teams providing business context, making feature and design trade-offs, performing test and sprint reviews - escalating where necessary to the Senior Product Manager.

- Run user acceptance tests to sign off features from a client perspective

- Be able to perform hands-on analysis with the data and tech to investigate issues and elaborate stories

- Work with the Senior Product Manager or Product Director to prioritise the detailed product backlog, working with technical teams to ensure sprint level releases are aligned to the strategic product roadmap.

- Manage the role out of the product within the business (e.g. system and process updates, communications and training to all appropriate areas). Support the Learning team to produce training and education materials for internal and external upskilling where required.

- Work closely with engineering and design teams on a day-to-day basis to resolve challenges and ensure we build quality products our users love while championing agile software development best-practice

- Run research on existing users, supporting the Senior Product Manager to gather feedback from internal product and engineering teams to inform your work and track product success
