- The role focuses on defining and building the road map and product development cycle of merchant application/s for payment services.
- Set the vision for the product with a goal of changing the way merchants interact with and manage their inventory and payment processes.
- Define both long term strategy and quarterly roadmap to achieve the product vision and create impact.
- Conceptualize new solutions with problem first, data-driven and test & iterate approach.
- Ensure conceptualization from a platform and a long-term view.
- Deep dive in user behaviour, talk to real customers, to ensure we- re solving real customer pain points and address needs from the start. Help make the customer on boarding journey seamless and compliant
- Ensure value-based prioritization of product initiatives.
- Help our team's priorities features based on customer feedback, engineering complexity and the most relevant business metrics.
- Build business cases for new product initiatives, with a focus on market and opportunity sizing
- Grasp problems of varying levels of complexity and reduce them down to their essentials
- Understand the problems we are trying to solve and work closely with engineers, designers, data scientists and other functions to define, iterate and ship.
- Help drive go-to market strategy for all products by working closely with CEO and Product Lead.
- Build constructive relationships, communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Collaborate with Engineering and Design to build products that customers will love.
- Ability to interact and drive insights from the merchants on their pain-points requirements
Qualifications :
- You have knowledge of fintech as a space, including understanding relevant ecommerce channels for driving business (as used by small and medium enterprises).
- You have deep consumer financial services experience and have preferably worked in building digital banking solutions.
- Strong empathy for customers and an unwillingness to compromise on user-centered design
- You understand technology, love customer-first thinking
- You hustle, take ownership, and get things done in a fast paced environment
- You are curious about metrics, execution processes, macro trends.
- You have an analytical and data-driven approach in day-to-day work.
- You can work on prototyping tools like Balsmiq and Figma and are well-versed with backlog management on JIRA/NOTION etc.
- You can write product wikis to reduce complexity in the communication and development process of the product.
- You have at least 3+ years of experience in Product Management
