Product Manager Finance - Edtech


We are looking for Product Managers for our finance category to develop and manage a portfolio of products. The Product Manager is responsible for the product planning and execution throughout the Product Lifecycle, including gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, defining the product vision, and working closely with sales, marketing and support teams to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met.

The job will involve thorough market/customer research, creating product briefs, developing curriculum with SMEs, training sales teams and finally launching the product. Once the course is launched you will periodically review the performance and take corrective actions to make the product stronger. You will be responsible to keep the existing courses of your category relevant and competitive by enhancing the curriculum and course features.

Job Responsibilities/Roles:

- Define the product strategy and roadmap within a product vertical

- Working with cross-functional teams to ensure new product launches

- Enhancing the state of existing products in a specific category / vertical

- Support sales and distribution teams to meet product revenue targets

- Staying abreast with competition, their offerings, and their product pricing

- Develop the core positioning and messaging for the product vertical

- Work with third parties to assess partnerships and licensing opportunities

- Liaison with external SMEs and internal content teams to ensure fulfillment

- Deepen relations with product partners and key stakeholders

Skills:

- 5+ years of experience with majority experience in a Product Development role

- Finance domain knowhow across Banking, Capital Markets, Investment Banking and Wealth

- Demonstrated knowledge of product management, marketing and sales principles

- Project management know-how with timeline centricity

- Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority

- Excellent communication skills to handle negotiations with stakeholders
