Product Manager - EWS


Highlight of the engagement opportunity:


Nature of role: Full time

Number of years of experience expected: 3-5 years

Areas of past experience preferred: Credit risk modelling/ Credit underwriting, Product development / Product manager , Solution designer

Educational qualification expected: Bachelor's / Master's Degree in Engineering, Economics, Management, Accounting, Finance or any professional qualification such as CA, FRM and Actuarial Sciences

Preferable additional certifications: Statistical modelling, credit risk modelling, Azure and AWS certifications related to data management, data analysis, cloud infrastructure setup and management, MS Power Apps and PowerBI certification

Preferred geography of previous work experience: India / Europe / APAC / US

Language requirements: Ability to write and speak fluently in English

Application experience: Python, SQL

Key responsibility areas:

- Must have knowledge of various loan products and the associated cashflow structures

- Familiarity with credit lifecycle, credit risk management methodologies and internal bank databases

- Knowledge of regulatory requirements related to credit risk management

Build, validate, document and implement:

- End to end product focusing on credit monitoring procedures to identify early warning signals for loans

- Credit risk models (eg: retail loan monitoring models, customer rating models, loan behavior scorecards etc.)

- Leading product development - defining product roadmap, managing the development, training of development team, educating the team about risk models etc.

- Formulating application data structures and workflows for automation of credit risk management procedures

- Advanced SQL and Python programming skills with experience in working with large datasets

- Ability to work on no-code technologies to build workflows and models

- Leading product implementations at more than one client

- Discuss requirements with clients and develop business requirement documents and functional specification documents

- Continuously improving risk modelling methods by enhancing data, including new risk characteristics and developing new algorithms,

- Demonstrate product features and undertake product demonstrations to support pre-sales requirements

Other important information:

- Work permit requirements: Either Indian Citizen or having valid work permit to work in India

- Period of engagement: Full-time position

- Probation period: 6 months

- Compensation: Compensation varies depending on the skill, fitment and role played by the person. Compensation discussions will take place post the selection process.

- Performance incentives: Typically, all roles at Acies have a performance incentive. Specific aspects will be discussed during the compensation discussion

- Leave: 22 working days a year. Additional leaves for national holidays, sick leaves, maternity and paternity, bereavement and studies vary based on the city and country of engagement.

Selection process:

We seek to be transparent during the selection process. While the actual process may vary from the process indicated below, the key steps involved are as follows:

- Technical test: Online Microsoft forms link shall be shared with shortlisted candidates

- Personal interviews: There are expected to be at least 2 rounds of online interviews. The number of interview rounds may increase depending on the criticality and seniority of the role involved.

- Final discussion on career and compensation: Post final selection, a separate discussion will be set up to discuss compensation and career growth. You are encouraged to seek any clarifications you have during this discussion.
