Product Manager - European Fund

The main objectives of the role holder will be to:

- Work with the Product Development team and external legal counsel to include any new product updates ensuring they are clearly defined in the prospectus and communicated to relevant stakeholders.

- Deliver & implement regulatory change within documentation for both Global ranges. Liaison with external legal counsel, internal risk/compliance teams as well as operational and business transformation teams to write updates to prospectus narratives and provisions ensuring a level of consistency with other platforms.

- Log and track updates to prospectuses and manage stakeholder expectations through to delivery including regulatory approval and operational and investment teams.

- Work with members of the Management Company in Luxembourg to ensure for awareness and input to documentation changes. Presentation of changes to senior committees and Fund Boards to obtain governance approvals on prospectus changes.

- Completion of any Post Implementation Reviews and Product reviews where appropriate.

- Project work - assist in ad hoc project work such as pricing models/principles and product changes. Work on any regulatory change projects that impact Global products.

From a governance perspective :

- Support the management of Fund Board activities with the onshore senior product governance managers. Ownership for assigned Fund Boards

- Liaison with appointed Cosec on Board meeting pack preparation, circular resolutions, meeting action points

- Manage meeting timetable and relationship with internal and external Directors

- In conjunction with Senior Product Governance manager for Luxembourg, ensure annual review of relevant policies and insurance and liaison with the Management Company.

Principal Accountabilities :

Key activities and decision making areas :

- Working with relevant teams (product development, legal, compliance, investment etc) to update and manage the assigned prospectus documentation, driving and supporting the implementation of regulatory changes.

- To manage new product inclusions and product changes within the prospectus documentation.

- Produce or assist in the production of ancillary documentation such as Shareholder notices, regulatory submissions with the external legal counsel, downstream KIIDs/KIDs.

- To log and track changes and communicate changes to a broad range of stakeholders within and outside the Asset Management Own assigned platforms from a governance perspective, working with Cosec, Fund Boards to fulfil all the regulatory obligations associated with management of Board meetings, financial statement production, regulatory filings etc.

- Assist in any governance related approvals and provide recommendations to enhance processes

- Work on and execute initiatives to streamline processes, either through technology or offshoring, resulting in improving efficiency.

- Support the business by providing appropriate information and documentation to help service the business to fulfil regulatory and commercial obligations.

- Work with relevant internal teams in the identification of reporting and demonstration of compliance with ESG criteria

Customers / Stakeholders :

- Develop good working relationships with other members of the Product team - (Product Development, Product Delivery and Product Support)

- Work with the ESG/Sustainability product team on inclusion of any relevant disclosures and ESG updates to prospectuses

- Senior Product governance managers, the Manco team in Lux and external legal advisers.

- Fund Board members including NEDs require a level of interaction and management.

- Understand the Treating Customers Fairly (TCF) principles, Asset Management's TCF philosophy and how this affects your role. Act in a manner that takes account of these principles to ensure fair outcomes for customers

Knowledge & Experience / Qualifications :

- Knowledge of prospectus management with regulatory interaction via legal counsel, preferably with European fund ranges.

- Knowledge of European Fund Board requirements and their regulatory obligations.

- Ability to demonstrate significant previous project management and product delivery experience at an established asset manager.

- Self-starter, who takes ownership, works with minimal supervision and can deliver the right solutions.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, an ability to communicate with impact.

- Ability to plan, prioritise and manage multiple complex initiatives (at different levels of granularity).
