The current headcount at the co. is more than 150, majorly comprising teams related to Engg., Product Management, Sales & Distribution and other enabling support functions. THE JOB: An important part of the Product Management team at the company, the Product Manager will have the following major responsibilities: - Developing novel products, managing new & existing product lines, providing technology strategy support to other departments and contributing to sales & marketing of products - Contribute to the company's product strategy by supporting the company leadership and senior management - End -to-end product lifecycle management, ranging from collecting consumer inputs to developing insights through to launching the product to improvements post-launch - Manage external/internal resources across geos & functions - to implement & lead a unified product road-map in coordination with the sales & marketing organization - Preparation of Product Requirement Documents for each product - Understanding the competition, market need, etc. in coordination with the sales team by conducting market research, surveys & meetings with customers - Develop breakthrough & innovative solutions with a strong focus on cost, quality & performance and lead design & engineering teams for the same - Ensure that the products being delivered are properly planned to meet the required criteria of performance and cost, well inside the parameters of the development budget & timelines - Develop a performance oriented culture, recruit people and manage performance INDICATIVE CANDIDATE PROFILE TYPE: - Ideally, 5 years of experience, initially as a product/software developer, followed by as a Product Management professional in the recent years. Product Marketing professionals aren't being looked at - Experience in B2B/Enterprise products is must. Nothing like if recent experience is in on-demand/ SaaS product(s) - Proven experience in managing full product development lifecycle, ranging from conceptualizing the product, product line development, patent assessment, prototyping, costing to PRD development and the likes - Strong decision-maker, analyses well and is a creative problem-solver - Confidently leads dynamic brainstorming sessions - Self-motivated, entrepreneurial self-starter; good manager/coach - Hands-on in ensuring deliverables in a dynamic environment and defining objectives - Has been directing a creative team of product development professionals and fosters an environment that encourages innovation - Travels internationally to meet partners, clients, etc. - Great at communicating in English OTHER DETAILS FOR THOSE INTERESTED IN APPLYING: - Full-time education in engg./computer science/science/management or a related discipline is a must, preferably if from reputable institutions like IITs/IISc/RECs/IIMs/ISB/Jadavpur University/Pune University, etc., but not absolutely mandatory though - Please don't miss on providing full details of your professional experience and present compensation break-up - Do-not apply if you're based outside of Delhi-NCR and/or if you can't join within 45 days of being offered - Candidates serving their resignation notice period shall be highly preferred, as the position is urgent and needs quick deployment
