- 1-3 years of product management experience, which can be substituted by experience in customer centric roles such as consulting plus a strong interest in product management and a knack for problem solving. However, Product experience is a must for the Sr. PM role. No cap on overall experience.
- Empathy and being able to ask the right questions to talk to customers and understand their problems.
- Ability to influence people without authority and effectively manage internal stakeholders.
- Team player to work collaboratively in a cross functional product team structure.
- Enthusiastic enough to be the product evangelist within the company.
- Data-driven approach to decision making, problem solving and experimentation.
- Courage to disagree with the popularly held beliefs, persuasion skills to convince others to your way of thinking and the wisdom to change your own opinions in light of relevant information.
