A leading global payments firm is actively seeking an experienced Commercial Cards Product Manager to join their team in Abu Dhabi, UAE, on a 12-month contract basis, with the potential for extension. This role is ideal for a professional with 10-12 years of experience in commercial banking, particularly in managing SME and corporate card products. The chosen candidate will play a critical role in overseeing the launch and support of commercial card solutions, ensuring their profitability, compliance, and market competitiveness.

Role Description:

- As the Commercial Cards Product Manager, you will be responsible for managing the entire lifecycle of SME and corporate cards.

- This includes collaboration with cross-functional teams, budget management, operational oversight, risk management, and performance reporting.

- Your expertise will ensure the delivery of integrated card solutions that meet commercial customers' needs while maintaining a focus on profitability, compliance, and exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities:

- Product Launch and Support: Oversee the successful launch and ongoing support of SME and corporate card products.

- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with sales, marketing, operations, and technology teams to ensure integrated and effective card solutions.

- Budget and Profitability Management: Develop and manage the budget for the commercial card division, focusing on profitability and cost-effectiveness.

- Operational Efficiency: Ensure the smooth operation of commercial card services, emphasizing efficiency, compliance, and customer satisfaction.

- Risk Management: Implement strategies to minimize fraud risk and secure card transactions.

- Performance Reporting: Prepare and present detailed reports on the commercial card product line's performance, including financial metrics and market engagement.

- Leverage Resources: Utilize Mastercard assets and resources to support the responsibilities outlined above, when applicable.

Requirements and Skills:

- Experience: 10 to 12 years of relevant experience in commercial banking, with a strong preference for professionals with GCC experience.

- Product Knowledge: Extensive knowledge of commercial banking products for SMEs and large corporates.

- Project Management: Demonstrated ability to manage projects effectively, meeting deadlines and achieving objectives.

- Collaboration and Leadership: Proven people management skills and the ability to work as a strong team player.

- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, capable of engaging with stakeholders at all levels.

Other Important Information:

- Term: The position is available on a 12-month contract basis, with the possibility of extension based on performance and project needs.

- Location: This role is based in Abu Dhabi, UAE, requiring the successful candidate to be based in or willing to relocate to the area for the duration of the contract.
