Product Manager- Special purpose products

Job Purpose :

- Product Development for special purpose products.

- Compliance of Special products to regulatory guidelines.

- Monitoring and system controls for these products.

- Support for Special purpose Products to Branches and Wholesale bank.

- Assist on new developments.

Key Responsibility Areas :

Product Development Activities include :

- Develop new products for special purpose products viz. Escrow, RERA, any other specific purpose product.

- Responsible for changes to processes based on the current environment and requirement to improve efficiencies.

- Constant Review and benchmarking of products with competition banks.

- Adherence to internal / regulatory requirements while designing / modifying product features / pricing.

Performance Standards :

- New product development/ enhancement of existing products to fulfill customer needs.

- Competition Benchmarking of products / processes to ensure that our product offerings are best in class

- Improvising operational processes by liasing with Ops for better service levels

- Facilitating the branches and channel in tapping business for the products

- Liase with cross functional departments like Audit / compliance / ops, etc. to create the product and processes in line with the regulation

- Product Maintenance:

- Pricing maintenance and checks

- Regular checks and controls at FC

- Ensuring correct and updated information is available on Bank website, Gyaanline and branch awareness wrt these products.

- Specific collateral, welcome mailers to spread awareness

- Correct product maintenance

- Correct & updated information on all customer and internal platforms

- Updated collateral

- Monitoring & system controls

- Set up system controls for all product features

- Ensuring transactions through these System controls

- Ensure compliance in line with RBI circular is maintained accounts are for the specific purpose

- Ensuring all controls set are applied to all accounts

- Develop new models for business opportunity

- Integration for digitalizing escrow

- Third party tie ups with FinTechs

- Develop new models for opportunity tapping

- New escrow models

- New integration with third parties

- Driving Special Purpose products -

Activities include:

- Developing new products based on requirement

- Responsible for product visibility

- Providing business potential.

- Providing product clarifications.

- Providing document and process related clarifications.

- Tracking activation status of all new accounts opened.

- Calling branches which are low on numbers

- Monitoring regulations and changes to process

- Value growth in Special purpose portfolio

- Increase in number of Special purpose Accounts

- Improve account Activation

- Regular MIS and tracking

- Product Support ; To provide support to the Branches and non Retail segments in terms of providing Product and features clarity, offer letters that can be submitted to the customer, etc., promos for specific transactions

- Clarity, customized offer letters , presentation, MIS Code, specialized products etc.

- Facilitating the Branches and channels for effective customer delivery

- Providing Customized solutions

Activities include:

- Customized solutions for escrow, RERA

- Client calls for large or complex transactions

- Value growth in the products

- Fulfillment of transactions

- End to end integration
