Product Manager - Automotive

Job Responsibilities :

- Plan, strategize and implement Automotive Product line initiatives which help in growing presence in India along with establishing profitable business. Responsible for achieving business growth and profitability improvement targets.

- Own quote process & prepare quotations for all customer programs meeting company & customer targets.

- Identify opportunities to meet 5 year growth plan & implement the same.

- Focus on improving profitability of plant meeting company targets.

- Drive localization & vertical integration opportunities.

- Engage in market study & analysis along with sales team to launch new products.

- Define synergies to partner with local suppliers to improve business propositions.

- Develop & implement M&E Product line strategies to grow profitably in India while maintaining healthy customer relationship.

Special Abilities :

- Keen to identify areas of profitability improvement in areas of supply chain, production, government initiatives (Make In India),

- Getting work done from different functions which don't report directly to this position.

- Fluency in written & spoken English.

- Open mind to accept different proposals from team.

Context & Environment Of Job :

- The position is located in India (Bangalore) and requires travel to customer locations, supplier locations & Pune plant
