Product Lead/Director/Vice President - IIT/NIT/BITS

Job Role/Responsibility:

1. Responsible for managing end to end product development lifecycle that involves gathering/analyzing business/user requirements, conceptualizing useful features, working with designers on UI/UX, aligning with QA for testing, and managing releases across all platforms - web, mobile and apps.

2. Communicate with stakeholders to identify pain-points that can be addressed through technology and drive the product development.

3. Create product requirements documents (PRDs), and wireframes and mock-ups using various tools. 

4. Analyze product flows and create relevant use-cases based on different scenarios.

5. Communicate effectively with developers on the explanation of end user requirements and validating the end implementation to see if the same meets the acceptance criteria by creating edge cases to constantly test products.

6. Employ a range of qualitative (user discovery research, focus groups, usability studies, etc.), quantitative (surveys, analytics, market research, etc.) and NPS related data into product requirements to enhance user satisfaction.

7. Derive insights from data and use the same for product improvements and iterations.

8. Conduct A/B tests to understand how we can increase the desired use case(s) of our products.

Desired Skills and Experience:

1. B.E / B. Tech from Tier 1 Academic pedigree with 6-10 years of relevant product management experience (Start-up experience preferred)

2. MBA or relevant business experience preferred

3. Ability to roll up sleeves and do whatever it takes to make the product successful.

4. Self-confident and self-starter - proactive in setting and meeting goals.

5. Empathy for the customer: a clear understanding of customer needs
