This is a role that largely will lead through influence in the technical space but will need to pivot between business, operations and technology teams.
- Manage all aspects of the product lifecycle, including problem definition, product strategy/roadmap, customer needs, requirement/use case definition
- Determines customer's' key needs; accumulate and refine ideas for new products.
- Identify key issues affecting customer experience; prioritize and resolve customer pain points while designing the product.
- Define, track and publish key engagement and business metrics for all aspects of a business.
- Must understand the role of technology and its impact in providing a great customer experience-
- Unparalleled bias for action with an ability to operate in a fast-paced environment.
- An understanding of software product development lifecycles.
- Must be able to write detailed product specification which can be understood by the tech team and be comfortable dealing with tactical and strategic initiatives
- Must be able to deal with internal customer requirements as well as external customer requirements
- Strong experience in user interface design for Web and Mobile apps
- Hire and nurture junior product managers and build a great product management team
Requirements:
- 10+ years of product management experience in B2C products
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering and MBA from Tier 1 Institutes
- Strong understanding of the software development process with an appreciation for maintaining a high-quality bar with low operational overhead.
- Exceptional analytical and project reporting skills
- Proficient with web services, online technologies, and user interface design
- Must have strong communication skills and must be able to communicate to people from diverse background. Must be able to able to articulate and sell your ideas
