Product Head - MusicTech

Futureleap Search has been mandated by a funded music tech company to hire a dynamic and growth driven Product Head.

What we look for in you

Product Strategy

- You should be able to develop and articulate a clear product strategy aligned with the company's overall goals & vision

- You would Own and Manage Product life-cycle from concept to creation, marketing to sales thereby growing the product penetration into newer markets and deeper engagement with the users

- Should love to connect with the users and others to conduct market research and analyze the outcome to identify customer needs and trends, and using that information to inform the product roadmap.

- Define and Achieve Success Metrics for the product and drive execution through collaborative efforts

You should have eye for detail, handle data collation and analysis to enable better decision making Product Planning & Roadmap Development

- Plan and prioritize the product development strategy along with key stakeholders

- Drive business planning process for cross-functional teams

- Creation of a roadmap outlining the features & enhancements to the product with timelines

- Discuss and prioritize improvements / alterations in the product based on feedback, stakeholder inputs and market trends

- Build execution strategy by involving key stakeholders including Tech and Design teams Product Planning & Roadmap Development

Collaboration

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, engineering, and marketing, to define and prioritise product features and requirements.

- Collaborating with sales and customer success teams to understand customer needs and pain points, and using that feedback to inform product development.

- Ensure and enhance communication between teams and help address queries and solve problems, real time

- Build a cohesive feedback mechanism with marketing and sales team in a planned and structured manner.

- Engage with the Design & Technology teams in Focused Group Discussions for identifying and building improvement in the product at all levels.

- Create a Marketing plan along with the marketing stakeholders

- Define success metrics and track progress regularly

Documentation / Requirement gathering

- Create and maintain product documentation, including user stories, wireframes, and product specifications.

- Manage Product Team and allocate responsibilities to the members and monitor their response and progress

- Plan Product Launches and communicate the updates to the stakeholders and others Industry & Customer orientation

- Staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in music education and technology, and incorporating that knowledge into product development.

- Managing and prioritising product backlogs, and working closely with development teams to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of product features and updates.

- Monitor the performance of the product at all stages and work with the stakeholders to continuously enhance the outcomes

- A Graduate Engineer / B.Tech

- Knowledge of Agile methodologies & Project management tools

- Excellent Analytical Skills and tools

- 5-7 years of relevant experience in a Product Company with 2 years in managing Product Teams

- Good to have - love for music (preferably having learnt an instrument or having attended singing
