Product Head - Logistics, Tata Group Company Overview :&nbsp; - The Tata Group is building a logistics business focused on movement of both less-than truck-load goods (through aggregating demand from multiple shippers) and full-truck-load goods with a focus on serving small shippers. This is an asset-light model and will require a deep understanding of the target segment and in-depth knowledge of logistics. - The platform will implement multiple digital tools to drive growth as well as efficiencies. These tools shall be at the core of the business model and the platform shall build significant capabilities in this area as a differentiator. As head of the product, this opportunity presents immense scope of growth while also leveraging support from the Tata group. Role: Product Head, Logistics Roles &amp; Responsibilities :&nbsp; - Own product conception, design and delivery to customers - Responsible for the P&amp;L and growth of all the components of the product - Responsible for designing the product plan and user journeys - Lead product team in designing the Market Requirements Document and Product Requirement Document - Responsible for creating and implementing product vision and strategy including target segment, go-to-market strategies, adoption and monetization of the products - Own design of the content as well as its communication and marketing initiatives - Own the stakeholder perspective for all products and all stakeholders and guide team to define and implement strategies accordingly - Identify potential challenges and modify product to meet these - Identify scope for potential partnerships / licensing and build a case for potential strategic acquisitions as required Basic Skills : - Proven track record of designing and implementing customer-centric products that deliver business value - Bias for action with an iterative approach to development with rapid testing and learning - Minimum 10 years of experience in product management with significant exposure to logistics-related products - Strong skills and experience in people management - Excellent written and verbal communication - Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams including tech developers Preferred Skills: - MBA from top universities - Tech background required
