The Person would be required to Lead the Product Strategy of a fast growing brand in the Internet in the Education Space.
Ideal candidate Should be a BTech and an MBA from a Premier Institute and should have worked for few years in Software Technology space and should have then shifted to Internet Product Space . Product Experience should be at least 4+ years while the total experience could range from 8yrs to 14yrs
The main KRAs of the person would be
Product and business strategy:
- Will be the key member of business leadership team. S/he will decide on business strategy and business priorities
- Define the product vision
- Develop innovation pipeline and define product road map in the medium to long term in order to meet business objectives
- Define key business and product matrix. Track the matrix and drive the entire plan of action to achieve results.
Product Development process:
- Establish processes to improve quality and speed of product delivery such as comprehensive requirement gathering, proper documentation (PRD/SRS etc), impact analysis, usability testing, test cases review etc
- Establish a productive working relationship with User Experience Team, Technology, QA Teams for smooth product roll out
- Track success of the defined matrix
- Collaborate with marketing to develop ‘go to market’ plans
Product team leadership:
- Lead a team of 3-4 Product Managers
- Performance management by setting KRAs, guiding and providing the team direction to achieve it
- Identify skill gaps in the current setup and mentor/ coach to build capabilities
- Hire key talent where required
Cross functional team leadership:
- Be the nodal point for functions such as sales, operations, marketing, and product development.
- Evangalise product with customers both internal and external and take ownership of end to end functionality to ensure success of product
