Product Head - FinTech Startup - IIT/IIM

This company is an asset backed online lending start up, which is disrupting the traditional brick-and-mortar lending model. With substantial funding from leading PE investors, its headquartered in Bengaluru with offices in Chennai and Hyderabad.

Responsibilities

The Head of Product will play a pivotal role in the future of the company and be responsible for the technical vision and development of the product as well as providing the overall vision for the product roadmap.

- Setting up of product strategy and roadmap.

- Ideate new product features and improve existing features; Drive innovative ideas, solutions and products

- Product planning and assignment of tasks and deliverables.

- Product lifecycle management from concept to launch of the product(s) across all products/product lines.

- Align product vision with the businesses short and long-term goals.

- Work collaboratively with business, cross functional teams etc.

- Develop budgets, forecasts, and metrics.

- Own the product roadmap and communicate with senior management, and other stakeholders.

- Study market trends, visualize customer needs and evaluate gaps in product portfolio.

- Lead, manage and mentor the product team

Experience/Qualification

- Strong educational background from top engineering or MBA schools (IIT/IIM candidates will be preferred)

- 7-9 years- experience with a few years in an internet product start-up / fin-tech company will be preferred

- Deep passion for integrating customer needs, product design and technology.

- Good communication skills - written and verbal
