JOB BRIEF

Role: Product Head - eCommerce

Reporting to: Chief Product and Strategy Officer

Locations: Hyderabad

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Managing the entire Product life cycle from strategic planning to tactical activities

2. Specifying market requirements for current and future products by conducting market research supported by on going visits to customers and non-customers.

3. Developing and implementing a company-wide go-to- market plan, working with all departments to execute.

4. Analysing potential partner relationships for the product.

5. Gain a deep understanding of customer experience, identify and fill product gaps and generate new ideas that grow market share, improve customer experience and drive growth

6.Create buy-in for the product vision both internally and with key external partners

7.Develop product pricing and positioning strategies

8. Scope and prioritize activities based on business and customer impact

9. Evaluate promotional plans to ensure that they are consistent with product strategy and that the message is effectively conveyed

10. Act as a product evangelist to build awareness and understanding within and outside Company

11. Represent the company by visiting customers to solicit feedback on company products and services

12. Responsible for providing the sales team with the necessary technical expertise to enable them to sell the product.

13. This involves printed and electronic promotional material, product training and in person support.

14. Act as point of first reference for all product related enquiries and work collaboratively with Operations and Sales team

QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE

- Post Grade in Sales / Marketing in reputed B School

- 8+ years of Experience

- Experience solid Sales / Solution Selling

- Prior experience in logistics sector, especially in eCommerce will be given preference

SKILL & ABILITIES:

- The successful candidate must be bright, quick, articulate and team player who also possesses independence of thought and opinion to provide candour and honesty to support and influence key business decisions

- Ability to establish quality relationship, a strong communication link and creditability with the customer through the highest level of professionalism, ethics and mutual respect

- Must have a demonstrated track record of building functional credibility with business teams

- Data and metrics driven individual with a passion for results and excellence

- Ability to see the big picture, visualize the future and develop relevant product strategies which value add to operations and Sales team

- Must be able to get the job done by working collaboratively with others

- Inquisitive and analytical mind, out-of- the-box thinking; bring a creative perspective to business problems applying functional expertise, business understanding and common sense

- Ability to stay connective with external market with a view to bring best practices ain the Company
