Product Head - Digital Video Applications - IT Startup

Product Head

Role Purpose :

- In this role you will own and launch new products within digital video business, you will work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, build product road-maps and ultimately bring new ideas to life.

Key Responsibilities :

- Improve the cross-device customer experience, making it easier and faster for customers to use our products across desktop, mobile and tablet devices.

- Create a compelling, consistent experience no matter what device a customer chooses to use.

- Work with Key stakeholders to create and manage the vision, objectives, and go-to-market plan for Online Store product strategy

- Support global expansion efforts by defining the strategic and tactical plan for delivering corridor specific products

- Establish a shared understanding of strategic objectives, target milestones and expectations with other teams

- Build a strong and enduring partnership with other areas of required for product/project delivery - Finance, Technology, Marketing, and Online

- Managing the end-to-end product lifecycle for customer-driven online products, preferably for digital video applications, acting as pivotal leader in gaining alignment with teams around online product strategy

- Creating strategic plans and product road-maps to drive and improve our online product features

- Strong familiarity with online commerce platforms and content management systems

- Working knowledge of product design and/or customer experience design as well as designing for smartphones and tablets

- Managing resources and project milestones while ensuring the team stays on track towards delivering milestones

- Ability to select, influence and build vendor relationships globally

- Working with cross functional teams including Finance, Technology, Online and Marketing to define the strategic plan as well as capture critical intellectual property whilst establishing rapport, credibility and influence to drive results across a dynamic cross-functional organization

- Strong decision making and prioritization skills overseeing and managing complex production schedules

- Proven track record of effective leadership with the ability to motivate and inspire both teams and individuals

- Excellent project management skills, including work prioritization and planning

- Experience in a start up
