Product Development Head - Suppliers - B2B Online Marketplace

The Head of suppliers- marketplace & technology will prepare & execute the product & technology roadmap that addresses company's business needs, ensure scalability and responsible for free suppliers growth. It involves sourcing suppliers, defining technology & user experience for the marketplace and suppliers business pages on the web & mobile, user & product admin, leading the DBA and Server admin teams along with the web & mobile based application development.

Goals:

1. Grow the no. of free suppliers with detailed business profile, participating on B2B Markeplaces

2. Increase user engagement - improve conversions, PVs per visitor, re-activation, MAU/DAU etc.

3. Build robust software & database architecture; identify latest tools & techniques for improvement in user experience and performance of software & applications deployed. Build adequate redundancies and load balancing to cater to growing traffic on marketplace & Intranet

4. Build a robust system for resolution of all technology related user complaints

5. Supervising, reviewing and interfacing with BU heads for regular & effective technology project deployment and ensuring compliance of around technology standards & policy framework

6. Select & set systems for project management, bug tracking, coding & documentation standards. Establish a quality assurance process, including integration and system testing. Ensure data security, disaster recovery and timely & error free project deployment.

12- 15 yrs

5+ years of experience in handling technology infrastructure for high-volume websites / web services

Qualification:

B.Tech and MBA from tier 1 institution

Skill Sets:

1. Strong business & technical vision with the ability to understand user requirements & drive superior participation & engagement

2. Data analytics, user focus

3. Strong leadership skills to manage people & heterogeneous enterprise technology infrastructure

4. Sound knowledge of OLTP system, LAMP environment, Oracle & DB architecture; familiarity with information security vulnerabilities & risk management

5. Vision for mobile product development, SAAS, UI/UX

Expected Salary for salary for this profile is 50 to 60 Lacs
