Purpose of the role :
Being a leader in the Design team of the travel and hospitality portfolio, this person will play a key role in creating a seamless, intuitive, creative, and effective user experience and user interface for all consumers across its travel platform.
Roles/Responsibilities :
- Leading Product Design for the travel vertical. Play a key role in building the design ethos within Tata Digital
- Manage the long and short-term goals & deliverables of the Product Design team
- While bringing in deep design thinking, ensure the design team is aligned with the entire product and engineering organization to produce a best-in-class user experience and user interface
- Leverage deep customer insights to co-lead the development, communication, and implementation of the user experience and associated UI/UX framework and assets across the Travel business
- Help create a best-in-class Consumer Journey through content and design by combining strong product salience with the ease and fluidity of the UI
- Guide UX and Information Architecture of the Product. Bring user-centred design methods to digital applications from concept to launch
- Help develop the development and communication of design guidelines, patterns, and libraries
- Collaborate with tech, business, and other internal stakeholders
Key Criteria :
- Background with web development, UX/UI, business intelligence, ETL tools, and hosting infrastructure. Solid understanding of web technology, including technical capabilities and limitations and state-of-the-art UX/UI tools
- Online B2C India experience
- Scaling large consumer facing online businesses
- Worked with a large technology team (50+ people)
