PRODIGI - Senior Manager - Technology

The Role :

This role has sole responsibility for the effective delivery of multiple simultaneously running projects/engagements from the COE to clients. You will be required to work on end to end development lifecycle aspects starting from functional specification, technical designs, development, testing, deployment and support. You must be enthusiastic about technology and constantly be looking at the next innovation. As well as having a strong oral, interpersonal and organizational abilities, you must be able to work in a fast pace environment. Flexibility and tolerance is a necessity.

Job Description :

- 8+ years of programming experience; should be proficient to write high quality code in PHP and should have worked on CMS like Drupal, Magento, Wordpress or Joomla.

- Should have a good understanding of UI side of development. Angularjs, bootstrap and Node JS preferred.

- Understanding of advanced web services and API based development

- Experience working on AWS cloud will be added advantage

- Experience with SQL-based databases like MySQL, Oracle, or MS SQL

- Ability to handle multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

- Knowledge of high traffic and highly scalable applications.

- Understanding/Reviewing client requirements in detail, giving a work estimation as per Function Point Analysis.

- Helping in getting the System Requirements Specifications document /FRS made.

- Strong knowledge of DNS and network tools (ping, traceroute, etc.)

- Must be able to troubleshoot complex issues quickly and effectively

- Strong knowledge of browser compatibility.

- Experience in developing technical standards and procedural guidelines related to production support

- Ability to work with a sense of urgency in an aggressive, multi-tasking environment

- Fast adaptation to the new technologies and environments, strong analytical and problem solving skills

Job Qualifications

This role would have the following experiences -

- MS/MBA/MCA or equivalent preferred. B.Tech is mandatory

- 8+ years of total experience

- Significant exposure to project management, requirements analysis and engineering especially in web based applications

- Exposure to design patterns and product solution

- Demonstrated ability to run all aspects of complex projects i.e. risk assessment and mitigation, resource management, budget management, communication, operations etc.

- Experience in Agile preferably in a Product Owner's role

- Significant experience and understanding of UX

- Excellent working knowledge of tools such as MS Project, JIRA, Basecamp, Version One, Invision
