Procurement Manager_Global In-house Center  Summary :  We are currently seeking lead for Procurement Manager for Global In-house Center (GIC) operating from Bangalore. Procurement Manager shall be responsible for the total management of production parts supply, realizing on-time delivery and minimizing procurement costs.  Responsibilities :  - Establishing procurement strategy for GIC;  - Communicating Procurement Division of Company in Japan to harmonize procurement strategy;  - Formulating procurement plan and manage budget;  - Selecting suppliers for procurement parts, and setting price conditions;  - Providing guidance to suppliers when defects arise (in collaboration with Company in Japan)  - Negotiating prices (regular negotiations, and detailed investigations when price increases are requested);  - Monitoring suppliers to ensure parts will be provided in line with factory's production schedule:  - Coordinating schedule in the event of requests for rush shipments;  - Checking new suppliers, and negotiating specific procurement conditions;  - Monitoring local markets as well as global market and taking actions necessary to avoid any risks such as shortage of supply, fluctuation of purchasing costs;  - Contact point for parts being procured from other countries;  - Supporting International Procurement Office Activities of Company group;  Qualifications :  - Experience as Procurement Manager in India, ideally over 10 years   - Deep knowledge of procurement, including cost reduction methods  - Deep knowledge related to various materials and components used in the production of diesel engine and farming equipment  - Quick learner and flexible   - Better to have domain knowledge of the diesel engine and farming equipment in India  - Minimum qualification of Bachelor, preferably with an MBA in general management
