Procurement Manager - FMCG

Currently handling assignment for Procurement Manager with the leading FMCG Company in Bangladesh.

Job Responsibilities mentioned below :

- Responsible for the strategic sourcing and purchasing of raw material, packaging materials and finished products necessary for Bangladesh business operation.

- Responsible for all import registration, renew and import permit from different Govt, bodies.

- Accountable for developing and monitoring the procurement budget. Monitor all commercial activities with Banks, Shipping line & C&F agents and Bangladesh Custom authority.

- Monitors the Purchasing performance. Drives continuous improvement processes .

- Manages foreign currency exposure risk relating to purchased materials and proposes active risk management approach. Compiles information on price trends to drive overall cost improvement processes through global benchmarks.

- Works closely with marketing, logistics and manufacturing teams to ensure that business needs are always met by the local procurement teams.

- Ensures early involvement and actively support NPD/EPD initiatives to deliver agreed milestone plans to drive business growth.

- Bangladesh work experience is required as procurement or purchase manager.
