Head SCM/Procurement - Solar plant Procurement professionals For a Leading Organisation in to Renewable Energy sector. - Overall responsibility for planning, managing & executing strategic and regular supply chain management of SolarPlant Equipments, Machinery, Material and Services. Plans to build in efficiency in supply chain process through strategic vendor management. - Sets the process for managing contracts favorable to Business requirements. - Provide inputs for strategic planning of complete supply chain including procurement & logistic process for the business - Design the procurement process, ensure implementation and monitor periodically for adherence . - Establish good relations with existing vendors and ensure that they supply the highest quality material and/or equipment. - To collaborate internally with departments like Project Management, Contracts, Legal, etc. & externally with the vendors & outsourcing partner for smooth execution. - Desired Candidates should be a B.E.(Electrical/ Civil/ /Mechanical) , a Post Graduate degree in Materials Management would be an added advantage. - 9 to 12 years of experience, with atleast 5 years in the solar sector 1. Knowledge of contracts and commercial matters 2. Technical knowledge of key components of Solar plants like modules, inverters, MMS, SAT, transformers, cables etc 3. Knowledge of quality, safety and environmental standards Willingness to relocate to Mumbai.
