Position Title: Procurement Financial Analyst/ Manager - Procurement Analytics

Reports to: County Finance Controller

Position Description:

Procurement Financial Analyst is the key financial support for the Procurement function providing quality reporting and analysis leading to correct strategic and tactical business decisions. The position is also responsible to drive financial estimation lead financial analysis / estimating performance reporting, development of senior management reporting packages, support development of the Procurement finance strategy, and lead finance systems and process improvement within Procurement.

Principal Responsibilities:

- Is responsible for supporting the Procurement organization in planning, analysis and reporting activities for strategic sourcing, commodity monitoring and management, procurement processes, market intelligence and general cost performance. This position works closely with Procurement Management for supply strategy development. The Procurement Financial Analyst participates as key team member on cross-functional Strategic Procurement teams and provides input to Procurement Project Leaders for strategy development, including conducting Supplier and market research, compiling spend history and forward cost estimates, preparing demand history and forecasts, preparing cost benefit analysis models and recommendations, and performing make / buy analyses. Assists in developing/enhancing and implementing harmonized procurement processes.

- Is responsible for Forecasting Accuracy of RM Cost / Forecasting Accuracy of inventory / Development of Purchasing Dashboard / Maintaining Prices for the last three years/ / Bench marking of prices with competition / Bench marking with other plants / Guiding plants for Allocation / Coordination with regional team members.

- Is responsible for recording & analyzing the SAG cost, performance & Management Review & reporting.

- Has line responsibility for all finance activities in Procurement including business support, spend analysis and reporting, and internal controls.

- Report on the market and competitive environment, including general macro-economic factors, and Procurement in the tire industry. Understand and have the ability to summarize and communicate clearly the financial and operating results (which include Volume/Price/Mix analysis, sales operations, manufacturing cost, other COGS, and SAG expenses) of Procurement in order to measure progress against Procurement business objectives.

- Ensure alignment of financial objectives between Procurement function & other stakeholders like Factories, PBUs and others.

- Ensure maintenance of price records, benchmarking of RM cost with competition and with the plants, sharing of financial analysis with the Leadership Team and maintenance of contracts with suppliers.

- Maintain a solid internal control environment and financial reporting integrity within Procurement functions.

- Analyze the financial feasibility of spend and other scheme proposals and assist in the development purchasing best practices

Required Experience

- Exposure of Financial Planning and Analysis role, Accounting (US GAAP), Factory experience a plus, process improvement, has led teams through processes and projects.

- Strong knowledge, understanding, and practical skills in relevant systems (i.e. ERP system (SAP preferred), MS Office products, Essbase, Hyperion or similar application).
