What you'll do
- Develop, execute and measure marketing strategies to increase inbounds
- Develop plans and strategies for achieving the company's sales targets
- Manage the sales teams, operations, and resources to deliver growth
- Define, hire and manage optimal sales team resources
- Become known as an employer of choice and a sales force that top salespeople want to join
- Define and oversee sales staff compensation and incentive programs that motivate the sales team to achieve their sales targets
- Define and coordinate sales training programs that enable staff to achieve their potential and support company sales objectives
- Manage customer expectations and contribute to a high level of customer satisfaction
- Define sales processes that drive desired sales outcomes and identify improvements where and when required
- Provide detailed sales forecasting, planning and reviews
- Compile information and data related to customer and prospect interactions
- Monitor customer, market, and competitor activity and provide feedback to company leadership team and other company functions
- Work closely with the marketing function to establish successful support, channel, and partner programs
- Manage key customer relationships and participate in closing strategic opportunities
- Travel for in-person meetings with customers and partners and to develop key relationships
What you'll bring
- Proven track record in enterprise SaaS marketing, sales, and partnerships to drive the entire SaaS sales and marketing funnel and build a great SaaS business
- Strong communication skills and the ability to examine, synthesize, and present data to various stakeholders (customers and partners)
- Exceptional verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
- Able to effectively articulate a unique value proposition that resonates with the customer needs.
- A successful track record of engagement with multiple customers and points of contact
- Attention to detail and the ability to prioritize, organize, and operate in a fast-moving, entrepreneurial startup environment
- Demonstrated ability to work across all levels of a customer or partner organization
- Comfortable managing the contracts and negotiations process with various stakeholders (e.g. customer, procurement, and finance)
- Able to work in ambiguous situations and be able to take charge and lead the client to the the best opportunity for them
- Experience managing and growing SaaS and/or subscription revenue with existing customer relationships a plus
