Job Purpose
Responsible for defining processes to cover Regulatory/Statutory Compliance, Operational Risk, Process efficacy, Operational convenience so as to ensure Consistent and Superior Customer Experience
Skills Required
Required
Graduate in any discipline, professional qualifications such as MBA, CAIIB, CA, CWA would be a plus
Relevant experience within a scheduled commercial bank; 8 years 12 years (AVP), 10 15 years (VP) out of which minimum 6 years should be in retail banking operations
Detailed knowledge and understanding of the Retail Banking Operations in India and related statutory/regulatory guidelines
Track record in designing and/or implementing multiple and complex process changes, new process roll outs, of desired quality, within strict timelines
Proven ability to understand, mitigate and manage operational risk.
Essential
Exceptional communicator with the ability to articulate complex ideas to all levels of an organisation, and effectively lead and manage all key stakeholders
Ability to deal with large and cross functional teams
Excellent people management and development skills with a strong focus on team development
Understanding of operating model concepts, design and analysis
Desirable
Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, BPR techniques and methodologies
Job Description
Define processes to cover Regulatory/Statutory Compliance, Operational Risk, Process efficacy, Operational convenience so as to ensure Consistent and Superior Customer Experience
Plan, identify, execute and manage process improvement opportunities across Operations and strengthen internal controls
Manage change management related to processes; improve the process quality
Maintain, upkeep and manage complete repository of processes
Aim at reducing costs and improving productivity through removal of duplication, unproductive tasks in processes and through automation of manual activities
Partner with Chief Experience Officer, Retail Quality assurance to define customer centric processes, measurement of SLA and TATs
Partner with Technology, Innovation, Product and centralized Operation teams to come up with state of the art processes using cutting edge Technology
Facilitate training content and session to ensure consistent understanding of process
Owner and SPOC of all Branch related Processes
