Process Manager

Responsibilities:

- Prepare financial statements in an efficient and timely manner in accordance with departmental and regulatory standards and procedures, as well as deadlines.

- Preparation of first draft of financial statements under the Investment Company Act of 1940 in accordance with US GAAP.

- Liaise with the onshore team as required by departmental procedures.

- Participate in the internal planning meetings related to the preparation of financial statements.

- Ensure any required adjustments communicated by the Onshore Financial Reporting Team are incorporated into the financial statements.

- Assist Onshore Financial Reporting Team in preparation of timetables/pro-formas for assigned funds in advance of year/period end.

- Monitor progress of financial statement preparation against timetable for assigned funds and following up to ensure all deadlines are met.

- Stay updated on new technical accounting and regulatory developments impacting the financial statement preparation function.

- Participate in financial reporting training as required.

- Maintain understanding of client-specific financial reporting requirements.

- Maintain knowledge of Invest One, Confluence, Bloomberg and other necessary financial reporting systems.

- Coordinate the planning and production of the financial statements preparation process in conjunction with the Onshore Financial Reporting team.

- Supervise the preparation of financial statements.

- Review Analyst’s work to ensure financial statements are completed accurately and resolve any differences or issues.

- Ensure accuracy and completeness of disclosures in financial statements.

- Train and develop members of the Offshore Financial Reporting team.

Essential:

- Current span of control should be 15.

- Shift timing: up till 12.30 am.

- Open to look at CA only. (CA with 5+ years of work exp )

- Should have worked on US / UK GAAP + IFRS.

- Experience on Hedge Fund would be an added advantage.

- Financial Reporting exp into preparation & review.

Desired - exp into Funds financial reporting.
