Job Responsibilities:

Job Opening with BDO India LLP in Mumbai

- Proven track of managing and leading transformation projects in AP domain to drive process excellence

- In-depth knowledge of Accounts payable process with working knowledge of Accounts receivable & Record to report activities

- Minimum 2 years- experience in SAP S4 HANA; experience in executing transformation projects will be highly preferred

- Good oral and written communication

- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications

- Able to work with minimum supervision

Job description

- Subject matter expert in the area of Accounts payable with proven track of managing and executing improvement & productivity initiatives, transition activities etc.

- Provide support in the transition to target operating model by developing competencies in area of Accounts Payable

- Implement best practices in AP by engaging with team leads and client stakeholders

- Knowledge of IT tools deployed within the domain to drive productivity

- Experience in identifying and executing automation within a process

- Drive change management initiatives by focussing on achieving productivity, controls and operational efficiency within AP process

- Manage relationships with multiple internal and external stakeholders with the objective of meeting delivery as per the agreed parameters

- Work closely with HR to ensure recruitment of appropriately skilled employees

- Superior project management skills in planning and executing improvement initiatives

- Drive a culture of continuous improvement and undertake continuous improvement projects

- Ensure SLA targets are consistently met and exceeded

- Develop an annual budget for the Unit and ensure no overrun on Budget / Approved project costs. Ensure productivity targets are met/exceeded

- Work closely with IT to ensure continuous system improvements towards increasing efficiency of processing

- Ensure appropriate responses are made to audit observations and corrective and preventive actions are taken
