Process Improvement & Program Manager (US Shift)
Job Description:
- Process and Productivity Improvement: Responsible for driving quality initiatives and productivity enhancement programs across the site/account.
- Cost Savings: Lead projects to improve the processes using the DMAIC & Lean methodology resulting in substantial financial benefits and Timeliness/Accuracy improvements.
- Process Workout’s: Bring about improvements in processes by conducting Rapid Improvement Events and Process Workouts. Responsible for mapping all processes of the site/account.
- Training: Conduct Lean, yellow belt training
- Risk Mitigation: Conduct Root Cause Analysis including the 5 Why Technique to identify risk items and explore possible mitigation.
- Mentoring: Support the green belts and mentor them on the lean sigma methodology
Qualifications/ Skills Sets required:
- Graduation with min 5+ years of experience and atleast 2yrs in the BB role
- Certified Black Belt currently playing the role of a black belt.
- Expert level skills in Excel along with good experience in using Minitab and moderate experience in MS Visio, MS Project, Access.
- Demonstrate a high level of analytical and problem solving skills and an interest in using these skills to improve processes.
