1. Job Purpose Statement
- Is in charge of the development of a new product, policy and processes
- Marketing and Creating a Pull for the product
- To provide a clear plan for their product, outlining goals as well as potential risks, challenges and opportunities.
- To establish and maintain business strategies to meet Volume & MS% Targets.
2. Duties & Responsibilities
- Strategy formulation and implementation
- Develop a clear strategy from inception to completion of a product in lines with the business strategy and align the same with budgets.
- Conceptualizing and Implementing strategies to penetrate new areas and expand existing ones.
- Develop and present product strategy to partners and shareholders. Outline how you plan to achieve your objective and lay out the potential risks and opportunities.
- Ensure right product mix and product profitability
- Contribute to the development of the pricing policy
- Ensure productivity parameters and portfolio quality standards are met and maintained.
3. Product and Process designing.
- Co ordinate with the design teams to develop the product, the marketing team to effectively market the product and outside vendors to distribute and sell your product.
- Product selection, Product lifecycle management, and assigning the appropriate product brand quality by application, in alignment with corporate objectives.
- Work with sales teams and management in the development, fine tuning, and problem resolution of our product offering.
- Complete financial analysis to model the product's cost and potential margin
- Controlling and tracking average IRR
- Ensure audit compliance and rating parameters are met.
4. Customer Related
- Design market research projects, either with in-house staff or through an outside agency, to assess customer attitudes to the current product range and new product introductions.
- Identify suitable partner, define responsibilities, communication plan and division of responsibility, milestones, contract with company, review transcripts and reports, and recommend action plans from the research.
5. Relationship Management
- Create lucrative incentive structure for employees and dealers for promoting the product or increasing the sales volume
- Create and maintain relationship with OEM; drive resale prices up and dealer relationship.
